PUBLICATIONS
From 1977 to 1991 the majority of my work was in the
form of fine line illustration for publication in numerous
archaeological reports. Illustration of important finds
made by metal detectorists continued up to 2005.
Most were published in the academic journals
East Anglian Archaeology and Norfolk Archaeology.
These drawings number in the thousands. I have also
undertaken freelance commissions for artwork to illustrate
19 popular publications between 1981-2006.
INTERPRETATION PROJECTS
From 1990 onwards my work has mostly been site-specific
interpretation installations, for sites of archaeological and
environmental importance. My involvement includes
research, creation of interpretive plans, text, design of
exhibitions and on-site graphic and tactile panels, interactive
exhibits/events, photography, illustration and reconstruction
paintings. I have completed 35 projects for a range of clients
include: English Heritage, English Nature,
Norfolk Rural Life Museum, South Norfolk Council,
Norfolk Archaeological Trust, Borough Council of Great
Yarmouth, Norfolk Wildlife Trust, Breckland Council,
Brecks Project, Forest Enterprise, Norwich Fringe Project,
Norfolk Historic Buildings Trust, Colchester Museum and
